Markdowns in both of my Etsy shops!

With my new focus on making more items and selling them, I have found myself flooded with crazy amounts of inventory! Which in a way, is good. But I'd like to get rid of some of the stuff I've had in my shop for a long time to make room for newer (and better) things!
Check out both of my Etsy shops for new markdowns on older items!
Coffincrafts has a clearance section, featuring items $5.00 and under. All clearance items include free shipping if you purchase another item from my shop!
Photos by Janelle has changed its price structure. I realized that a flat price point for all items doesn't allow me to charge what I want to, higher for better photos, and less for ones that I think aren't as good. So I marked down quite a few as well.

Check 'em out! Happy Tuesday everyone!

Texas Highlights

I made it back safely from Texas, and have posted some new photos on my Etsy.

Some highlights of the trip:

We stopped in New Mexico to see "The Thing" and it was a nice break from the continuous driving-
We went to an old Smelter cemetery from the 1800's-

We caught a tiny gecko, he was only about an inch long-
We saw Juarez, but not at a close distance as there were multiple homicides while we were in town-
I was able to get a photo of a storm with lightning in it-
Overall I'd have to say that Texas has the most beautiful sky I've ever seen anywhere!

Now I'm just unpacking and getting prepared to spend 9 days in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan, where it is beautiful this time of year.

Westward...

So, tonight I will head Westward on my trek to Texas. We'll be passing through the Salton Sea area; unfortunately it will be at night so I won't be finding photo ops like this one, fortunately at night because it's going to be blazing hot! I wish I were leaving San Diego to get away from the heat, but instead I'll be traveling though and staying in hotter and dryer climates. Let's hope I don't get too bad of a sunburn (bringing SPF 50 and bought a cute painted wooden umbrella if things get too bad). It's been too long since I've been on a serious road trip, and I've only been to Texas once (through the Houston airport, doesn't count for much). I will have tons of photos to share upon my arrival home. I'm traveling with two of my friends and am looking forward to our adventure! Best of all, we're staying with my friend's family, not only is it free, but I get to enjoy good ol' Texas cooking and spending time with good company. :)

Just added some more fun jewelry to my Etsy shop,
check it out!

Features +

Some fun collections on Etsy that my photography has recently been featured in that I think are a great theme and have other talented artist's work as well-

Grunge - Makes me homesick!
On A Nighttime Sea - Beautiful shades of turquoise!
Celebration -A collection of good times.
Good Grief - Awesome things to help with mourning and loss.
Follow Me With Your Motorhome - Motorhome themed, fun!
Salt of the Earth - Interesting salt theme.
I'm So Tired - Tires, as in the kind on your vehicle, yay recycling!
Pounce On These Great Picks - Super sellers who've yet to have sales.
Will You Walk Into My Parlor - Spider themed, based on a poem.

2 Days until my epic roadtrip, can't wait! I fear the heat though. It'll be worth the sunburn I have coming my way. :) Can't wait to collect things to use in my jewelry and art, and take tons of photos!

I'm trying to think of what music I should include in my road trip mixes... So far I have a lot of Baroness, Broken Bells, Rites Of Spring, and Cult of Luna. I think I need some good hip hop too.
Suggestions?!

Xoxo.

Welcome!

Well, I'm new here! New to the blogging world. I figure since I've gotten more serious about creating, I should be more serious about promoting my work as well! Not to mention this blog will be a place for me to post about exciting things on the horizon, exciting things going on, plans, ideas, contests, and to share fellow artists that I enjoy and think deserve attention too.

Currently I'm working on preparing myself to sell jewelry at a retail location, which when I can share more details about, I definitely will!

I'm headed on some fun photo adventures over the next few weeks and I will have tons of images to share from them.
-Later this week I'm taking a road trip with a few friends to Texas, and stopping by the Grand Canyon which I've never seen before.
-In September I will be going to the Upper Peninsula in Michigan, where it will be beautiful with all the nature and fall colors.

These are my two Etsy shops:

For the most part I'm just starting off with these sites and find them to be part of an amazingly talented span of artists.

One of my pieces was just featured in this amazing collection of one of my favorite things in the whole world: SHARKS.
Check it out!

And, Welcome!
